Custom Templates for Your Team

Custom Templates capture your team's structure, industry, and terminology for a kind of document, so every new PRD, one-pager, or spec starts the way your organization works instead of from a generic outline. Organization admins create them; everyone in the organization can use them.

Design templates that match how your team works

Give each template a name, description, and use cases, then define its sections. Each section has a title and instructions that guide Wisary's AI. Mix prose sections for narrative content with list sections that generate repeating items like requirements or user stories, and reorder sections to control how the document flows.

Tied to a document type, reused across unlimited documents

A template applies to a specific document type such as PRD, One Pager, or User Stories, and only appears when someone creates that type of document. Any number of documents can be created from the same template, and editing a template never alters documents already created from it. Existing work is never changed or broken.

Created and managed by admins, used by everyone

Creating, editing, and archiving templates is reserved for organization admins, from the Document Templates tab in organization settings. Archiving removes a template from new document creation while leaving existing documents fully intact. Using a template is open to every member of the organization. Templates are scoped to a single organization and are never visible to other organizations or in personal workspaces.
